![]() ![]() I think these are the most important/positive things.Ģ - Professionally managed, endless effort show clarity/transparency to players. I made a "Why I play UOR?" some time ago, I cannot talk much about UOF since I never played there! I know people are going to tell me to try Outlands but I just didn't like the overwhelming experience. ![]() I want to just do my thing and maybe trade with other players along the way. I don't want to pay money for items that are going to help me progress. Let me know what UO Server I should play on (NON-CUSTOM). I've played both but didn't get far enough into either of them to really figure out what I liked/disliked as I mostly focus on myself and my character build/gold grind. I like the live online experience.Īll the posts I've seen about UOF and UOR have been split down the middle.Ĭomplaints about UOF are that its a cash grab thats always looking for donations and kind of Pay to Win/Progress - but the servers and events are more active and populated.Ĭomplaints about UOR is that the player base is lower than UOF but its more true to the original UO game without the donations for items all over the place. I don't want instanced rentals in an Inn. I want the chance to place a house somewhere in the world and find houses IDOC. However, I just want to emulate the old UO experience on the classic map I have engrained in my brain. I had many people try to convince me to stick around and take the deep learning curve to play it and enjoy it. I attempted UO Outlands but it was a little too customized for my likings. ![]()
